PERMATECTURE
Design living places - Strengthen landscapes - Retain water

PROCESS & FEES

Good planning begins with a realistic assessment.
Every place is different. That is why we work with clear entry formats and project-specific proposals. This makes it visible early on which service is useful, which scope is appropriate and which next steps are possible

HOW A PROJECT WITH US BEGINS

1. Inquiry
You briefly describe the place, the initial situation and the most important questions. Helpful materials include location, photos, existing plans, aerial images or a short description of the desired development.
2. Initial assessment
We assess which entry format is useful: an online initial check, an on-site potential analysis or a project-specific concept proposal.
3. Proposal
You receive a clear proposal with scope of services, fee, additional costs, timeframe and next steps.
4. Work begins
After commissioning, analysis, site visit, concept development, planning, funding preparation or implementation support begins.

Online Initial Check from 490,-€

For an initial professional assessment of a property, farmstead, garden, agricultural area or project idea.

Included: • review of existing documents in advance • online meeting • initial assessment of potentials and challenges • rough recommendation for next steps

On-site Potential Analysis from 1,250,-€

On-site Potential Analysis from 1,250,-€

plus travel costs

For projects where terrain, water, use, vegetation, buildings and development possibilities need to be assessed on site.

Included: • review of existing documents in advance • site visit • assessment of water regime, terrain, use and design • initial ideas for measures and priorities • short written summary with concept sketch

Concept Plan from 3,600,-€

Concept Plan from 3,600,-€

For small to medium-sized projects where a first spatial proposal should emerge from the initial assessment.

Included: • basic analysis • schematic site plan • proposed measures • short written concept • recommendation for further planning or implementation

In-depth Concept Plan from 8,500,-€

In-depth Concept Plan from 8,500,-€

In-depth Landscape, Farmstead or Retention Concept

For more complex properties, agricultural land, farmsteads, stream corridors, municipal projects or larger landscape development areas.

Included: • in-depth analysis of place, use, terrain, water, soil and vegetation • spatial development concept • plan of measures • prioritisation according to effect, feasibility and costs • rough cost estimate • recommendations for funding, permitting or implementation

PROJECT-SPECIFIC SERVICES

Not every project fits into a fixed format. Larger, more complex or regulatory-relevant projects are calculated individually.

These include in particular:
• municipal and regional concepts
• public open spaces and recreational areas
• stream corridors, retention areas and wet zones
• farmstead development and building planning
• funding and permitting documents
• presentation documents for municipalities, project developers or funding bodies
• detailed planning, tendering and implementation support
The fee depends on scope, available base information, planning depth, coordination needs, responsibility and desired outcome.

WHAT INFLUENCES THE EFFORT?

The effort involved in a project does not depend only on its area. The following factors are especially important:
Complexity of the place
Terrain, water paths, soils, existing buildings, vegetation, use and framework conditions.
Goal and planning depth
Initial assessment, concept, permitting document, detailed planning or implementation support.
Available base information
Plans, elevation information, cadastral data, aerial images, reports, photos or existing concepts.
Coordination needs
Owners, municipalities, authorities, funding bodies, neighbours, contractors or project partners.
Proximity to implementation
The closer a project moves towards permitting, construction, earthworks or planting, the more precise planning, responsibility and coordination need to be.
Documentation and presentation
Reports, presentations, visualisations, planning attachments, cost estimates and funding documents increase the scope of work.

WHAT IS DEFINED IN OUR PROPOSALS?

Our proposals clearly describe:
• scope of services
• work steps
• number of coordination meetings
• deliverables
• fee
• additional costs
• services not included
• possible additional services
This makes it clear what is commissioned and which services can be added if needed.

NOT INCLUDED UNLESS EXPRESSLY AGREED

The following are not automatically included:
• surveying
• soil reports
• hydrological or geotechnical expert reports
• structural calculations
• authority fees
• external specialist planning
• detailed execution planning
• tendering and procurement
• site supervision
• extensive additional coordination rounds
• changes outside the agreed scope of services
These services can be added if required or coordinated with suitable specialist partners.

WHICH FORMAT FITS WHOM?FÜR WEN WELCHES FORMAT PASST

Private properties and farmsteads
Often useful: online initial check, on-site potential analysis or concept sketch.
Agricultural enterprises
Often useful: on-site potential analysis, in-depth landscape or retention concept, implementation support.
Municipalities and regions
Often useful: project-specific concept proposal, funding documents, presentation documents and coordination support.
Project developers and initiatives
Often useful: concept planning, project preparation, funding logic, presentation and professional support.

WHY WE WORK WITH PAID ENTRY FORMATS

A good initial assessment requires time, experience and careful reading of the place.
Even small projects often involve complex questions: water, soil, use, care, terrain, buildings, neighbours, permits or long-term development. Paid entry formats allow focused, professional and fair work from the beginning.

REQUEST A PROJECT

Would you like to discuss a project with us?

Please briefly describe:
• where the project is located
• what the project is about
• which questions or problems are central
• whether plans, photos or documents already exist
• whether the focus is consulting, concept, planning, funding or implementation
We will respond with an assessment of which entry format is useful.
