PERMATECTURE is an agroecological architecture office for landscape, agriculture, water retention and sustainable architectural planning.
We develop concepts and plans for places that are meant to stay alive: farms and agricultural land, buildings and gardens, public open spaces and municipalities.
We work with what each place already brings: terrain, water, soil, vegetation, use, existing structures and atmosphere.

PLANNING FOR LIVING LANDSCAPES
Many landscapes lose water too quickly. Soils dry out, heat increases, heavy rainfall runs off, and erosion leaves visible traces.
We plan places where water gains time again: to flow, infiltrate, collect, nourish life and cool the landscape.
From topography, soil, plants, paths, buildings and use, we develop resilient concepts for spaces that are beautiful, functional and robust.

SHAPED BY PRACTICE, LANDSCAPE AND WATER
Our work has grown out of many years of practical experience with ecological land use, permaculture, landscape development and water retention.
Heidelinde Holzer's background at the Krameterhof and the long-standing collaboration with Sepp Holzer and Josef A. Holzer have strongly shaped our view of landscape, water, soil and use.
Today, we connect this experience with architecture, planning and place-based concept development.
